Because of the gear requirements, it is necessary to separate T4-T5 from the rest of Coil. In order to help get as many members as possible into the end game content, there are also a different set of rules.
Baseline Requirements *In order to sign up for the T4-T5 raids, your character must at least have an ilvl 90 weapon appropriate for the class you wish to come on, and a total gear score of i85+. This is a huge gear check, so it is required you have all of your pieces as high as can be. For this reason, food is also a requirement. It is bring your own food, but if you talk nice to some of our members, we may be able to help you. Please watch the youtube videos for turns 4 and 5 to get a general understanding of the fights.
Signing up In order to sign up, access the event you wish to sign up for and create a comment in the form of <Class abbreviation><Item level>/<alternate class abv.><Item level>. Follow this with your chosen 4 items from turn 4, and your chosen weapon from turn 5. for example: <SMNi77>/<SCHi88> (N: Allagan Ring of Healing, G:Allagan Bracelets of Fending, Heavy Allagan Gauntlets, Allagan Breeches of Casting, Allagan Sword)
Rotations In order to get the most people exposed to the end game content, we will be implementing Rotations, where appropriate. For this, if there are more characters available to go to Coil than there are *appropriate* slots for them to fill, then someone will be asked to sit out for that week. if you are asked to sit out, you will be given preferential treatment on the next weeks run. this is very important, because we want to get people into the endgame, and let everyone experience the content once they are able. This will require patience and understanding, but you are expected to be mature enough to wish your fellow company members well, even from the bench.
Looking to the future The rotation idea will be implemented because we only have a couple of people extra for coil 4-5. once we get more ready to go, we will begin putting together a 2nd group, even if there are some pugs to flesh it out. ideally, we want everyone to participate that can, until we can do that though, your patience and understanding are appreciated.
Your team Each sanctioned team running coil that night will have a team leader, your team leader has final say about party composition, so as not to be pigeon holed into taking a group that could not possibly complete the raid. having said that, the team will be chosen to fill these slots: for turn 4-5, Tank x2, healer x2, BRD x1, Melee DD x1, caster DD x2 please note, signing up first for T4-5 does not earn you preferential treatment. This is a change from the rules for T1-3 because of rotation.
Looting T4 and T5 have their own loot rules, please keep up to date on these. T4:Pick 4 items that drop in turn 4, you will get to roll on these items. Place these items with your jobs when signing up. you may need them if the option is available to you, otherwise you may greed them. unless you claim an item in the 4 slots given, you should pass on the items. Any item not claimed by anyone will be a free-for-all greed. T5 The armor chest is standard Need/Greed rules. you may use whatever option is available to you at your own discretion. For weapons, you should select one weapon that is not your current job's. If your current job's weapon drops, you may need on it. If the one you selected drops, you may greed on it. If neither of these is the case, wait for instructions, it may be that no one chose the weapon, in which case it is free-for-all Greed.
